  37. --sits there and waits until the modem retrains and then I have to login 
  38. --manually. That works at least.

  40. --USR gave me a few init strings to try, but it seems that I'm getting hit
  41. with 
  42. --some nasty bler counts (via ATI6). At least the courier retrains to 28.8 
  43. --99 percent of the time. :)

  50. That sounds more like a line quality problem.  Have you had the phone company
  51. check out your line?  V.34 is very sensitive to the slightest degredation in
  52. dB and signal loss. Also, with a Courier, the only init string I have ever
  53. needed for any comm application is AT&F1.  Of course,  Win95 may have some odd
  54. requirement or need that I've never encountered on any other application or
  55. OS.
